Oliver Pain

PhD student @ Birkbeck University & London School of Hygeine and Tropical Medicine

Oliver began his Bloomsbury College-funded PhD in October 2014 under the supervision of Dr Angelica Ronald (Birkbeck) and Prof Frank Dudbridge (London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine). His current research involves the harmonisation of phenotypic and genotypic data from several general population studies to power the identification of common genetic variants associated with adolescent psychotic experiences. He will also investigate the shared aetiology of adolescent psychotic experiences with major psychiatric disorders typically occurring in adulthood.
