Daniel is a PhD student on the Wellcome Trust PhD programme in
Mathematical Genomics and Medicine at the University of Cambridge,
supervised by Professor Ben Simons and Dr Sarah Teichmann. His research
interests are in the area of single-cell analysis, focussing on the
development new statistical methods and the mathematical modelling of
cell fate decisions.
Besides his PhD, Daniel is involved in an outreach project (@puntseq)
trying to chase microbial diversity using a portable DNA sequencer.
