Jonny has recently finished his PhD in the Marioni group in Cambridge, and has started working at Genomics Plc.

During his PhD, he focussed on studying early development with single-cell RNAseq. This included the compilation of an atlas of mouse development through gastrulation and organogenesis, as well as the development of a method to correct for the index-switching technical artefact from Illumina DNA sequencer
